Real Neat Blogger Award Nomination has been nominated for the Real Neat Blogger Award by the amazing blog, Authenticitee! Let me first say thank you sincerely to the awesome blogger of Authenticitee, E! Much love, gratitude and blessings to you always, sis!

We, as people, work so hard toward goals, dreams and visions we seek to accomplish. All of us, in one way or another, are working toward something, every moment of life. Consciously or unconsciously. And depending on how hard your road or struggle is, the work we put in, can be far more than we often imagine ourselves to be capable of.

For those who find the strength, will and faith to continue on into the light, no matter how dark the night, there is always something they find upon their arrival. Rewards. Blessings. It’s called Grace.

Every now and then, on my own road toward triumph over tragedy, I look up to find my own forms of rewards. Blessings. Grace. It is up to me to honor such. Up to me to be see them. Embrace them. Internalize them. Love them. Honor them. And return them. Back to the world.

This nomination, for the Real Neat Blogger Award, is my reward. My blessing. My grace. And I see it. For many avid or even, sometimes bloggers who take their blog seriously, any award is a high honor. It isn’t about celebrity or attention. It is so much bigger. It is about honor. It is about recognition.

Being on the blog scene as heavily as I have during the past year, I’ve learned a thing or two. One of the most significant observations I’ve made is that many, possibly even most bloggers, blog for one main reason: to be heard. I’ve realized wholeheartedly, that my dreams of finding people who are living and/ or dying to be heard as badly, as strongly, as necessarily as me, is fulfilled. There is a whole world of those people. Right here in the ‘Blog World.’

The ones who’ve been silenced for far too long. Those who have been ignored into oblivion. Those who have been marginalized, ostracized, denied. The forgotten. The mute. The deaf. The blind. The lost. The unfound. That’s the first and foremost identity of sooo many of the people who write their write blog post, in the ‘Blog World.’ In search of themselves. Their truth. Their story. Their other selves. Their true selves. Their them.

Every time someone nominates another blogger for one of these awards, they honor that. The struggle and fight to be heard. They recognize that blogger’s efforts to redefine that struggle. And they bare that recognition proudly, in the most obvious of ways, by nominating them.

That’s why I write. That’s why I live. That’s why I am. For my story. And every other person’s story. I thus, accept this Real Neat Blogger Award with love, appreciation and great gratitude. Thank you E, for the recognition. Thank you to Dear Kitty. Some blog for creating and sharing this award.

The most important supporter you have, is the person standing right beside you. Through these awards, all of us bloggers are standing alongside one another! In solidarity! And might I say, in the words of Dennis the Menace, it’s quite swell ;-)!!
